John started working in the Middle Eastern/Africa area in 1982 and since then, working and living in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Malawi and South Africa, he has handled more than 4000 claims, at the same time managing regional adjusting operations for three companies. He is probably the longest serving Adjuster in the Middle East Marketplace.
After serving some years in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Africa, in 1996 John took up residence in the UAE and worked there as Country Manager for various companies before, in 2003, joining Charles Taylor Adjusting as Manager for the Middle East/Western Asia.
Over these years, he has handled complex claims up to US$90M mainly in the engineering and technical fields with a preferred specialization in on-shore Power losses where he has been involved in major construction/operational losses in generating stations in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Syria, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Turkey.
In addition to his preferred technical specialty, John has also handled large property and complex liability losses throughout the region, including managing all Regional property and liability claims on two multinational ports and terminals accounts.
In 2016, John left full time employment with Charles Taylor and became an independent consultant dealing mainly in operational power losses in Pakistan before joining Integra in February 2021 as Regional Technical Director based in the Middle East.
