Integra Technical Services has today announced the appointment of Tony Chapman as their new Managing Director in Asia. Tony, who will be based in Integra’s Singapore office, will work closely with Integra’s Executive and joins their Leadership Team to develop and grow Integra’s service offering in the region.  

Tony joins Integra with over 30 years’ experience within the insurance industry, and started his loss adjusting career in the UK. During this time, he qualified both as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (FCILA).

He later moved into international loss adjusting, initially as home-based foreign adjuster working from London before permanently relocating overseas to Asia and.  For the last 10 years Tony has lived in Singapore and has handled assignments predominantly across the Asia region on behalf of International Reinsurers.  He has handled claims in over 25 countries in the following lines of business; Construction, Power/Petrochemicals, Product Liability/Product Recall, Terrorism and Property.

Tony is also a founding committee member of the Asia Power Forum and a founding member of the Construction and Engineering workgroup of the General Insurance Association in Singapore.

Integra Technical Services, the global specialty lines loss adjusting firm, has today announced the arrival of Torben Bell, Alex Radcliffe and Sumeet Bhardwaj to its team in Australia. The three appointments follow the recent recruitment announcements of Glenn Nadworny, Iain McLennan, and Eoin Lawless to the region.

Torben Bell, who has over 21 years’ loss adjusting experience, joins Integra as Country Manager, Australia & New Zealand. Torben specialises in investigating a range of complex insurance claims across a variety of categories, including Property Damage, Liability, Construction & Engineering, Energy, Mining and Transportation. He will be based in Integra’s new Melbourne office.

Alex Radcliffe joins Integra as Executive Adjuster in the newly opened Brisbane office. Alex brings with him an excellent track record of settling major and complex claims across the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Middle East. He will be focusing on adjusting losses in the Construction, Energy, Power including Renewables, and Mining sectors.

Sumeet Bhardwaj joins the Integra Australian operation as Senior Engineering Adjuster and will also be based in the Brisbane office. Sumeet is an experienced engineer having spent over 12 years working for corporates in the United Kingdom and Australia, such as Balfour Beatty, Carillion and ICPS Australia before moving into loss adjusting in 2019. He will be focused handling losses emanating from the Construction and Engineering sectors.

Integra Technical Services has announced the appointment of John Chambers as Technical Director to its team in the Middle East. John, who joined Integra in February 2021, reports into Phil Durrant, Managing Director EMEA, and will work from the Integra Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices.

John is a well-respected, senior figure within the commercial loss adjusting industry with over 40 years’ experience of working in the Middle East and Africa. Following spells working in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Africa, he took up residence in the UAE in 1996, and worked as Regional Manager for his previous employers. 

During this time, he has been involved in the handling of claims mainly within the engineering and technical fields. With a preferred specialisation in onshore Power losses, John has been involved in major construction and operational losses in generating stations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Turkey.

Integra Technical Services, the specialty lines loss adjusting firm, has added Iain McLennan as Executive Adjuster to its team in Australia. Reporting into Thomas Pasley, Managing Director Australia & New Zealand, Iain will be based in Sydney, NSW and enhances Integra’s resource and offering within the Construction, Engineering and Energy sectors.

After training as a Quantity Surveyor, Iain was accredited as a qualified surveyor in 1993, working in both private practice and a contracting organisation before making the move into insurance as a loss adjuster in1995.

He relocated to Australia in 2011, and since then he has developed his skills and experience predominantly in the field of Construction All Risks and Delay In Start Up (DSU) claims.

During his career, which included time at AIG, Iain has been involved in handling claims across most industry sectors, and although focussing on construction claims has had exposure to infrastructure, education, health, food processing facilities, power generation, manufacturing, and high net worth clients. In addition, he has experience of handling claims resulting from major CAT events, including the Brisbane floods, Cyclone Yasi and the Canterbury earthquake sequence.

Leading specialty lines loss adjuster, Integra Technical Services, has recruited Glenn Nadworny to join its regional team in Australia and New Zealand. Glenn joins Integra with over 40 years’ international insurance experience gained across sectors such as construction & engineering, oil & gas, mining, and specialist liabilities. 

Having graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering, Glenn spent over 15 years as a professional engineer in the Canadian petroleum industry. Here he gained experience as a design, operations and project engineer on oil and gas pipelines and other related energy projects.

In 1990 Glenn moved into insurance, joining Zurich in Switzerland as Technical Underwriter before returning to Canada, where he opened and managed their Global Energy Underwriting office.

In 2000, Glenn became a technical loss adjuster, working in both New Zealand and Canada. During his adjusting career he had handled both Property & Liability claims, predominately in the Downstream Oil, Gas & Petrochemical, Mining and Power Generation sectors, where he has settled claims in Australia, Canada, Latin America, New Zealand and the United States.

Leading specialty lines loss adjuster, Integra Technical Services, has signed a Local Resource Partner agreement in Egypt with Ahmed Elsheikh of Elsheikh Elite Experts.

The agreement enables Integra to support the global (re)insurance markets in servicing claims in the country in collaboration with Elsheikh Elite Experts.

Ahmed Elsheikh lives and works in central Cairo and is a fully licensed loss adjuster by Egyptian Finance Regulatory Authority. He is a qualified architectural engineer and has over 20 years’ corporate and insurance experience, having worked in the construction industry and for both Allianz Egypt and Arab Misr Insurance Group. Ahmed’s specialities include engineering, construction and civil works within Egypt and Sudan.

The partnership with Elsheikh Elite Experts equips Integra with the resource to handle claims for their clients, at short notice, in the major hubs of Cairo, Alexandria, Port Sayed and Aswan. Ahmed will be able to provide Integra with an immediate first response supported by Integra’s Remote Inspection Solution, IRIS, which allows Integra’s adjusters and key claims stakeholders to simultaneously attend a live video inspection quickly and easily.

In addition, Elsheikh Elite Experts provides additional access, capability and experience in handling losses within Sudan.
