Integra has today announced the appointment of Richard Ollerhead as Engineering Adjuster to their construction team in the UK.

Richard’s career started as a fabricator and draftsman for the design and installation of steel structures such as elevated cantilever walkways and platforms, before moving to Schlumberger as an oilfield engineer in Northern Iraq. While at Schlumberger, he was responsible for ensuring the best possible construction approach was taken on rig layout projects for Exxon, Marathon, Chevron and OMV, in addition to undertaking drilling fluid management for oil rig operations including testing, maintaining, and diagnosing solid control equipment, such as centrifuges, dewatering units and filtration systems.  

He later joined Arup, as a civil engineer undertaking a management and technical role working on major projects including High Speed 2, Crossrail 1 & 2, Lower Thames Crossing, and Luton Airport Mass Passenger Transit. During Richard’s time at Arup, his responsibilities involved undertaking geotechnical and structural damage assessments and providing advice on modern condition surveying methodologies and structural monitoring strategies.

Richard joins Integra from AtkinsRealis, a leading design, engineering, and project management organisation, where he was a risk manager developing and implementing processes to improve risk identification, escalation and reporting on projects that included Dungeness Nuclear Power Station and the National Highways Major Projects division.

He graduated with a First Class Bachelor degree in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering from Kingston University in 2022 and became a Chartered Civil Engineer two years later.

Integra has today announced the appointment of Rebecca Douglas as an Executive Adjuster within its team in Australia. Rebecca will be based in Integra’s Brisbane office in Queensland.

Rebecca is a Chartered Loss Adjuster, who has over 20 years’ experience in investigating and settling commercial insurance claims. She started her insurance career as a claim consultant for IAG before transitioning into loss adjusting in 2008.

Rebecca joins Integra from an international loss adjusting firm where over the last 11 years she has specialised in major and complex property losses emanating from a diverse range of sectors, including hospitality, government, manufacturing, schools, hospitals, retail and wholesale distribution.

Integra has added Ray Chow as Cyber loss adjuster to its team in Australasia. He will be based in Auckland and will be adjusting cyber claims as well as supporting any potential subrogation actions that arise from them.

Prior to joining the insurance industry, Ray was Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for an iconic New Zealand state-owned enterprise providing strategic leadership through the transformation of their cyber security position.

Ray is a cyber security professional with over 15 years’ experience in the information security sector. He previously held roles with law enforcement responsibilities, security incident response, and security leadership roles working across various sectors in the public and private sectors.

Integra Technical Services (Integra) has announced the appointment of Stephen Leveritt, as Senior Risk Engineer within their subsidiary, Integra Risk Services.

Stephen is a chartered civil engineer (CEng) with over 20 years international risk engineering experience gained through working for insurance and other financial services companies.

He joins Integra from Macquarie Group, where he was Construction Risk Division Director responsible for reviewing technical information and data, preparing risk summaries, and monitoring progress and risk management on construction projects.

Prior to Macquarie, Stephen spent 18 years in the London insurance market as a construction risk engineer working for Allianz, Zurich, and Starstone, and has significant prior civil engineering experience gained with contractors and clients on large UK and international projects.

Stephen will be responsible for the provision of risk engineering services on global civil engineering, conducting thorough and systematic risk assessments and providing technical advice to clients on their risk management strategies.

Integra Technical Services (Integra) has announced the appointment of Shereef Mounir, as Executive Adjuster in the USA.

Shereef, who is based in Houston, joins Integra from AON where he was a claims consultant involved in the preparation, advocacy and management of complex construction and energy claims.
Following his degree in Civil Engineering, he spent over 20 years in industry working for engineering consulting, and constructions organisations within the Middle East and United States of America, with wide exposure to different industries including renewables, power, onshore & offshore energy, heavy construction, aviation and transportation.

Shereef is a Professional Engineer, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Project Management Professional, and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. In addition, Shereef is an FAA 107 certified drone pilot with extensive experience in providing mapped drone surveys for insurance claims assessments.

He also brings further international language skills to Integra being fluent in English, Arabic and French.

Integra Technical Services, the global specialty lines loss adjusting firm, has today announced the appointment of Gregg Kamarudin a Marine Adjuster in Perth, Western Australia.

Gregg joins Integra with over 20 years’ experience in the handling of the full range of large and complex hull, cargo and project cargo losses at all Western Australia and Northern Territory ports.

He is a fully qualified marine surveyor and holds an Advanced Diploma and Certificate IV in commercial Marine Surveying, including marine insurance modules. He is a member of the Australasian Institute of Marine Surveyors.

Integra has today announced the promotion of Eddie Walsh to the role of Abu Dhabi Office Manager with immediate effect.

In this new position, Eddie will continue to handle new and existing losses alongside the day-to-day management of the Abu Dhabi office. This includes running the office , managing client relationships, and developing Integra’s presence in the region.

Eddie will continue to report into Deputy Managing Director, Middle East and Africa, Derek Patterson.

Eddie, who joined Integra in July 2023, is a qualified engineer and Chartered Loss Adjuster with over 18 years’ international loss adjusting experience in Ireland, New Zealand, and the Middle East where he has been based for the past nine years. During this time, he has handled several large and complex claims across a range of sectors, including commercial property, construction, engineering, plant and equipment, specialist processes/ manufacturing, liability, fire investigation and cyber.

Integra Technical Services (Integra) has announced the appointment of Robert Innes, as Senior Risk Engineer within their subsidiary, Integra Risk Services

Robert is a chartered civil engineer (MICE) with ten years industry experience on large infrastructure projects for Arup, a global professional services firm providing design, engineering, architecture, and advisory services across every aspect of the construction environment.

While at Arup, he worked on a variety of large civil engineering projects including bridges, underground metro stations and other large civil structures, including notable projects such as London 2012 Olympics, HS2, Riyadh Metro and Copenhagen Metro.

He joins Integra from Zurich Insurance Company, where he spent the last six years as a Construction Risk Engineer, the last couple as the leader of the Construction and Power Generation team.

Robert will be responsible for the provision of risk engineering services on global civil engineering, conducting thorough and systematic risk assessments and providing technical advice to clients on their risk management strategies.

Launched in January 2022, Integra Risk Services designs and delivers comprehensive management of all risk engineering activities, utilising a combination of Integra’s in-house risk engineers, as well as the services of a specialist global network of independent engineers.  The combination of the two delivers project specific insight as well as lessons learned from claims that have arisen in the past from projects that are comparable to those being surveyed. Over the last couple of years, Integra Risk Services has worked on appointments spanning the construction, mining, infrastructure and energy (both renewable and conventional) sectors.

Integra has today announced the appointment of Eddie Walsh as Chartered Engineering Adjuster in the Middle East.

Eddie, who will be based out of Integra’s Abu Dhabi office, is a chartered loss adjuster and a qualified engineer. He joins Integra with over 17 years of adjusting experience, having held senior positions at both local and international adjusting firms.

During his career, Eddie has worked extensively on major losses across property, power, energy, construction and cyber sectors in the Middle East, Africa, and New Zealand, including a number of CAT events.

Eddie’s announcement follows the recent arrival of Nick Hide and increases the team to six experienced loss adjusters. Eddie will also be working closely with both Gerard Ward and Gareth Cottam on growing Integra’s technical Cyber offering.

Integra today announces the promotion of Torben Bell to Regional Managing Director, Australia & New Zealand.

Torben joined Integra as Country Manager in July 2021, and has since overseen the development and growth of the regional team while enhancing their reputation with clients on a number of complex losses and notably with Integra providing market leading responses to the QLD/NSW flooding in 2022 and the NZ Cyclone and flooding in 2023.

During this time, he has seamlessly combined the existing team with a number of new colleagues, secured a large number of Service Level Agreements with existing and new clients, and increased the number of new instructions received to the region, with the help of our colleagues. All resulting in making Integra one of the leading adjusting firms in the region.

The Australasia team now consists of 18 adjusters plus an additional five operations and finance staff located across offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Auckland.
