While at Arup, he worked on a variety of large civil engineering projects including bridges, underground metro stations and other large civil structures, including notable projects such as London 2012 Olympics, HS2, Riyadh Metro and Copenhagen Metro.

He joins Integra from Zurich Insurance Company, where he spent the last six years as a Construction Risk Engineer, the last couple as the leader of the Construction and Power Generation team.

Paul Latimer, Managing Director, Integra Risk Services commented, “I am delighted to welcome Robert to the team. His experience in undertaking risk engineering services on a variety of CAR & EAR projects added to his knowledge of the global insurance marketplace will be a huge asset to both our clients and the internal team at Integra.

I am looking forward to working closely with him and Simon, as we continue to develop Integra’s risk engineering offering for the benefit of our clients.”

Launched in January 2022, Integra Risk Services designs and delivers comprehensive management of all risk engineering activities, utilising a combination of Integra’s in-house risk engineers, as well as the services of a specialist global network of independent engineers.  The combination of the two delivers project specific insight as well as lessons learned from claims that have arisen in the past from projects that are comparable to those being surveyed. Over the last couple of years, Integra Risk Services has worked on appointments spanning the construction, mining, infrastructure and energy (both renewable and conventional) sectors.
