Integra Risk Services announces appointment of Jorge Rubio Salgado
Please to announce the appointment of Jorge Rubi Salgado as Senior Risk Engineer in London
Jorge joins Integra with more than a decade of experience across major civil engineering, mining, and infrastructure projects in Europe and Latin America. A Chartered Mining Engineer with a strong commercial and project management background, he has played key roles in delivering some of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure programmes.
Most recently, Jorge served as Project Manager on HS2 Main Works as part of the EKFB JV (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction, BAM Nuttall) as well as on the £1.4 billion Riverlinx Tunnel project in London, a joint venture between BAM, SK, and Ferrovial. In these roles he was responsible for commercial oversight, subcontractor management, cost forecasting, and board level stakeholder engagement.
Prior to this, he held senior positions on the £1.2 billion Thames Tideway Tunnel project, progressing from Site Sub Agent to Site Agent and SCL Shift Manager. During this time, developed expertise in reinformed concrete and tunnelling works.
Earlier in his career, Jorge contributed to major international projects including the $2.5 billion Alto Maipo Hydroelectric Power Plant in Chile, and large-scale mining developments for CODELCO, developing a strong understanding of excavation methodologies, underground construction, and operational risk.
Fluent in Spanish and English, with additional proficiency in French and Thai, Jorge brings a global perspective and collaborative working style that aligns with Integra’s client-focused approach.

Jorge holds an MSc in Mining Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Renewable Energies from Universidad Europea. He is also a certified in SMSTS, Temporary Works Supervision, and confined space operations.
