Construction, Engineering & Infrastructure
Many of the Integra team hail from the construction industry and we utilise that expertise to manage claims associated with owner-arranged insurances on construction projects worldwide.
Where necessary, in territories that demand the involvement of a local market loss adjusting firm, we have successfully combined our experience in conjunction with resources based close to the work site. We provide the reporting and inspection protocols and co-ordinate the work product, using appropriate IT. This is a very cost effective means of maintaining close claim control, consistent product quality and uniformity of approach on major projects, in challenging or remote locations.
In addition we deal with the full range of DIC, DIE, DID, Non-Admitted Security, and CPE programmes.
With involvement on active accounts including operational rail risks, together with expertise in construction of high speed railways, metro systems, tunnelling works, toll roads, telecommunications and power networks, sports stadia, and major wastewater and desalination projects, infrastructure development is an important sector for us.
The management and resolution of complex Delay In Start-Up (DSU), claims is a speciality of the business, and we have managed significant losses on some of the largest and high-profile construction projects in the world. In conjunction with programme analysts, we have developed project-monitoring protocols on a wide cross section of risks.
Increasingly we are asked to take responsibility for the DSU exposure in situations where the local property damage adjusters do not have the knowledge of managing this type of claim and we are able to create and manage an integrated approach to deliver the appropriate service product for our Principals.
