Kevin McElhenny

Chartered Loss Adjuster – Construction, Mining, OGP, Power G

Kevin has an honours degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He is also a Fellow of ANZIIF and an Associate member of the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA). Kevin spent twelve years working as an engineer in the mining industry in South Africa, finishing as engineering manager for a gold mine before moving into project work. He then spent six years in project management of construction of process plants and shafts in Southern Africa and as a technical consultant for a furnace project in Saudi Arabia. Kevin has practiced as a loss adjuster since 1998, concentrating on engineering, construction and mining related claims, as well as engineering aspects of major property losses. He also has specialist expertise in train derailments and has experience in claims for power stations and port operations.
